I recently stumbled on Belgian brand Filles à Papa via The Coveteur. Designed by a duo of sisters, Carol and Sarah Piron, their line is self-described as having been created for "girls who naturally ooze confidence" is filled with playful pieces, from stylish basic tees to sparkling skirts. I don' think it's hard to guess why this "Read Better Books" tee immediately found its way to my wishlist. Could it be a more perfect tee for a librarian / booklover? I think not. Although I suppose it could cause some awkwardness at the circulation desk.
In an ideal world I would style this wished-for tee with an edged-up traditional librarian-look. Think leather ankle boots, a in-my-dreams-only Vivienne Westwood skirt and the most perfect (albeit tragically sold out) Warby Parker cat-eye frames. Warby folk, if you ever deign to reproduce the Leith Clark x Warby Range, this spectacle-sporting librarian would be forever grateful.
