Lot 65 x Nancy Thomas Photography - Victoria Row

Blouse & Belt: Smart Set Skinnies: Old Navy Heels: Ruche Wristlet: Coach

Victoria Row is a pedestrian-only (in summer) street in downtown Charlottetown that is filled with cute little shops and cafés, and often live music when the weather is warm. Although certainly on the spring Sunday that Nancy and I shot these photos there weren't too many folks around just yet, as it's a little early in the season for lots of activity. Still, if you find yourself on the Island this summer, I'd definitely recommend spending some time here.

I thought I'd combine the dots of these fun heels from Ruche with a sheer dotted Smart Set blouse.  Too many dots you say? Never. Polka dots have been a favourite print of mine season after season and my love for them hasn't yet lost its lustre. Keeping the colour palette black and white makes mixing prints a little easier, but a pop of red never hurt anyone. I think my love for the black-white-red colour combination stems from reading so many Babysitters Club books back in the day - and although I recall one of the babysitters wearing that combination of colours exclusively I can't remember which one. Stacey perhaps? Any former Ann M Martin fans out there who can solve that mystery for me will win my sincerest thanks.

Thanks once again to Nancy for being the most patient and lovely photographer!
