Smart Spring

I have to say I've been really impressed lately with the spring offerings from Smart Set. I've been shopping there off and on for ages, but I feel like they're really stepping it up lately. I've picked a couple of my favourite bits and pieces from their spring offerings and how I'd love to style them. The above dress is on my to-buy list as soon as I see it in store. It's simple, but perfectly pretty and I love the accents of mint and pale pink, two of my favourite colours. I like the idea of pairing it with similarly toned accessories for a fun spring feeling.

I feel like I'm not being overly creative with this mix of prints, as it features in the actual lookbook for the spring lineup from Smart Set, but I just love these two items so much together that I couldn't help it. I think they'd look fantastic with these amazing wedges from Aldo (which are mysteriously unavailable in my size on their site = tragic).  I think simple earrings and bag would let a statement necklace, like this one from J. Crew, pop against the white backdrop of that fun peplum tank.

It's not quite warm enough on PEI just yet to justify a spring-y ensemble. As I type this post, fluffy flakes of snow are blowing through the air outside the window. That said, bright colours and light spring pieces are all I'm thinking about lately, and I'm hoping to incorporate some of the pieces here into my wardrobe, and soon!
