Scarf: Modcloth Sweater: Joe Fresh Jeans: Old Navy Mittens: Mark's Work Wearhouse Boots: Joe Fresh

So far this winter I've developed quite a collection of knits, and I've certainly been wearing them in heavy rotation lately. There's something about curling up in a cozy sweater with a mug of hot chocolate and a good book that I can't resist. I usually try to pair them with something less bulky to balance out the whole look, and in this instance I went with my trusty black Rock Star skinnies tucked into fleecy boots.

I feel I need to mention that I do realize I'm pretty matchy-matchy with my scarf and mitts in this ensemble. I hadn't intended to showcase my (absolute favourite & warmest ever) mittens in this look - but my hands were freezing! If you're looking for the best mittens in the whole world - this fleece-lined leather pair from Mark's was a surprise winner that I rely upon to keep my hands toasty = imperative.
