Fading Light

Sailboat Print Top: Forever 21 Necklace: Smart Set Skinny Jeans: Old Navy
As the light faded this evening, I thought I would try my hand for the second time at a self-timed outfit post. I headed out to the backyard to set up my tripod and was immediately swarmed by an extremely determined group of mosquitoes - although I did manage to snap a few photos before being completely eaten alive.

I haven't been dressing up much, as most of my time has been spent chasing around nieces and nephews on the beach in casual shorts and tanks. Today though, I had a few errands to run around town so I put together my staple black jeans and a comfortable sailboat printed top. As I write, I think the local marina might have been a better spot to shoot this particular item, but I guess I'll just have to remix it sometime soon and wear it in its more ideal nautical setting.

We're in for a beautiful weekend here on PEI, and I can't wait to go to the beach, as well as spend some more time honing my photography skills by snapping some pictures of my favourite scenic spots around my island.
