In spite of my distaste for the popular song, "Inner Ninja", David Myles has become a favourite of mine over the past little while. I just got his newest album, In the Nighttime and I absolutely love it - the lyrics, the melodies, his crooner-esque voice. It's seriously so good. I'm going to see him live at the NAC here in Ottawa, and although I have to go alone (it sold out before my friends could get tickets = #fail), it will be worth it.
This tune is from a series of videos he did of acoustic versions of his songs (so worth watching, btw!), and this is one of my very favourites. I have been listening to it on repeat for at least the last two weeks, and have been spamming my friends with it because I just need to share the goodness. So now I'm sharing it here as well.
