Music Monday: Tanya Davis

I'm afraid I've been a bit of a delinquent blogger for the past little while, moving, working and volunteering here have been keeping me busy as of late. I have decided to do a few new things around this little blog of mine and one of them is debuting today, Music Monday. I know this isn't a completely original idea, I admit I have gained inspiration from some other lovely bloggers with regards to this particular feature, but with music being such a large part of my life, I want to share a few new and old favourites with you all!

To start things off, I thought I'd share a couple of songs  from the amazingly talented Tanya Davis. She, like me, is a PEI native, and I discovered her music due to the fact that her family lives next door to mine, and became a fast fan of her creative and quirky style.  She started off doing mainly spoken word, but has slowly incorporated more music and singing into her work.

She's fabulously talented in my opinion, and so I thought she deserved a listen!  Additionally, the videos that accompany her songs are well worth watching too for the fantastic and adorable animation.

I hope you enjoy!

Hey-thanks for sharing this unique form of music! I'm discovering that there are more and more of these styles emerging and young people really gravitate to it!
