Reading in Style v. 13

Sunday, November 16, 2014
Chris from Over the Top
Estée from Essiebutton
Caitlin from Style Within Reach
Gosia from Make Life Easier
Alix from I Covet Thee

Today's "Reading in Style" ladies come from far and wide but share one thing in common - enjoyment of a good book.

First up - Chris from Austrian lifestyle blog Over the Top. I initially started following her blog while trying to learn German, but since then I've found a few good book recommendations from her. Particularly the one she's reading here, a (translated) copy of Not a Drop to Drink by Mindy Mcginnis which I have definitely added to my to-read list.

Estée really needs no introduction - she's a youtuber and blogger extraordinaire. However, if somehow you haven't already, check out her channel, Essiebutton (and accompanying blog). Right. Now. She's a beauty pro, but I also love that I can fulfill my dreams of future greyhound ownership vicariously through her and her beloved hound, Reggie (aka reggiebutton). Such a cutie. I loved this post namely because she's reading one of the books topping my to-read list right now, Lena Dunham's Not That Kind of Girl.

I loved this laid back easy weekend reading post from Caitlin of Style Within Reach (also find her at The Glitter Guide), particularly because I too enjoy lounging in jammies, coffee (or preferably tea) in hand, reading a good book.

Reading as relaxation? That's what Gosia of Polish lifestyle blog Make Life Easier suggests, and I couldn't agree more. (P.S. She's checking out The Body Book, by Cameron Diaz).

Last but certainly not least, is Alix, of beauty blog (and youtube channel of the same name), I Covet Thee. There's nothing more luxurious than enjoying a book and a bath by candlelight - it's a favourite indulgence of mine as well.

Would you like to be featured in my next Reading in Style post? If you've got a bookishly stylish look/post to share, feel free to send it my way! rebecca (at) lotsixtyfive (dot) com!

  1. I always love seeing these round-ups, Rebecca - a good book never goes out of style, and can sometimes really make an outfit post!
