Berne Botanical Garden

I can't believe my trip to Switzerland has come and gone. I can count those two weeks as among the happiest of my life and I am still so full of joy at having been able to spend time with some of the people I love most in the world. Much exploring of old haunts and discovery of new ones happened, in spite of pretty persistent rain. On one such rainy afternoon I spent a little while exploring the damp yet beautiful botanical garden in Berne, and the silver lining behind each raincloud being that the plants seemed more lush and beautiful than I expected, and I kept company with a plethora of garden snails, who were out enjoying the weather as well.
