Canoe Cove: Nancy Thomas Photography

Canoe Cove is one of my favourite PEI beaches. It's minutes from where I grew up, and has the red cliffs and sand that I love. It's a great swimming spot and with sandbars that stretch for ages at low tide, it's perfect for splashing through pools finding hermit crabs, starfish and seaglass. I've got a lot of great memories surrounding this area and so was delighted to snap some photos with Nancy there.

I snapped up this floral skirt from Asos as soon as it went on sale (it's still available!), but since it is decidely springy with a softly coloured floral print, I wanted to try to transition it into a fall look with a long sleeve blouse, tights, and my beloved Joe Fresh booties (that seem to make it into almost all of my outfit posts lately). I'm thinking if I can get my hands on this coat I might even be able to style this new favourite skirt into a winter look too.
