If you follow me on instagram (@ lotsixtyfive) you got a sneak preview of this outfit. It was a beautiful but windy day on PEI today, and after a lunch date and afternoon visit with a lovely cousin, I headed out to snap a few photos of today's ensemble - a pair of high-waisted Dorothy Perkins shorts that I have been wearing a ton lately, and a bird print Smart Set top.
I had grand ideas of taking photos along the boardwalk that winds along the waterfront - but being oceanside also means wind, and today it was quite a bit more gusty than usual. A spare purse filled with water bottles thankfully kept my tripod from taking a tumble, but my hair took on a life of its own, as you can most obviously see in my last shot. I clearly went for the windblown look - provided by genuine Island breezes!

That's definitely some windblown hair - but I like these photos nonetheless! Fun and carefree!
